The 8-point operation principle of the excavator on the downhill slope without turning over

1

Excavator uphill downhill is not a simple matter, not every machine operator is an old driver! There is a saying that “impatient can not eat hot tofu”, in order to avoid accidents when opening the excavator, not anxious when going up and down the slope, we must master some operating skills. Here to share with you the old driver downhill experience, these points should pay special attention to:
No.1:Observe your surroundings carefully
First of all, the excavator must be carefully observed before going up and down the slope, and there is a preliminary judgment on the actual Angle of the ramp, whether it is within the controllable range of the excavator operation. If necessary, the upper part of the slope can be shaken to the lower part to reduce the Angle of the slope. In addition, if it has just rained, the road is too slippery to go downhill.
No.2:Remember to wear your seat belt
Most drivers are not in the habit of wearing seat belts, and when going downhill, if they are not wearing seat belts, the driver leans forward. Still need to remind everyone to develop good driving habits.
No.3: Remove stones when climbing downhill
Whether climbing or downhill, it is necessary to first remove the surrounding obstacles, especially to remove relatively large stones, when climbing, not very large stones will make the excavator track slip, and it is too late for an accident.
No.4:Drive on ramps with the guide wheel in front
When the excavator is going downhill, the guide wheel should be in the front, so that the upper track is tautted to prevent the car body from slipping forward under the action of gravity when it stops. When the direction of the joystick is opposite to the direction of the device, it is easy to cause danger.
No.5: Don’t forget to drop the bucket when going uphill
When the excavator is going downhill, there is another point that needs special attention, that is, put down the excavator bucket, keep it about 20~30cm from the ground, and when there is a dangerous situation, you can immediately put down the working device to keep the excavator stable and stop it from sliding downward.
No.6: Go uphill and downhill facing the slope
The excavator should climb directly against the slope, and it is best not to turn on the slope, which is easy to cause rollover or landslide. When driving on the ramp, you need to check the hardness of the ramp surface. Whether uphill or downhill, remember that the cab must face the forward direction.
No.7: Go downhill at a constant speed
When going downhill, the excavator should keep a uniform speed forward, and the speed of the track forward and the speed of the lifting arm should be consistent, so that the bucket support force will not cause the track to hang.
NO.8: Try not to park on ramps
The excavator should at best be parked on a flat road, when it must be parked on a ramp, gently insert the bucket into the ground, open the digging arm (about 120 degrees), and put a stop under the track. This will ensure stability and not slip.
